PRDX 2010/11 received more than 100 entries from 23 countries.
Austria, Australia, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Egypt, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Philippines, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain, Turkey, United States and Venezuela.
For the first time in Puerto Rico, Designers had the opportunity to exchange their ideas in one place, the Puerto Rico Design eXchange. This is an open design competition for professionals and students in six different categories. The PRDX 2010/11 includes the following categories; Architecture, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design and Photography.

The Puerto Rico Design eXchange 2010/11 Awards ceremony took place on June 24, 2011 at Petrus Gallery, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Jurors recognized 33 project with various awards. Winners received a certificate for First, Second, Third place and Honorable Mention for professionals and students categories. Also students who won First Place for of all categories received a $250.00 prize money thanks to the collaboration of Eduardo Lopez Interior Design. The juror choose the project The Importance of the Fifth Facade presented by Juan Garcia in the category of Photography Student as the best overall project of the six categories. PRDX recognize Garcia’s work with the MARUJA FUENTES Special Award for Excellence in Design. Antonio Fuentes [Maruja’s father] gave a $300.00 prize money to Garcia for the award.
